Guidelines:

Katanga Property Care specialises in efficient and thorough pest control measures, from initial inspection to eradication of the problem.
The most modern technology and latest research findings are utilized in their control methods. The company also offers an additional
service - its preventative program - designed to prevent the problem from occurring in the first place. Recommendations are made with
regard to sanitation and housekeeping to make the property less conducive to pest infestation.

Signed contract on file, outlining duties and responsibilities of contractor.
Pest control officers are registered with the Dept. of Agriculture and their certificates are
copied and kept on file.
All material safety data sheets for all pesticides used are kept on file.
Treatment reports, fully completed, to be signed and retained by client after each service.
Tamper-proof bait stations with lockable lids, secured in place, located along sides of
entrances, numbered and marked on a constantly updated site plan.
Rat activity to be documented as and when noted and exterior boxes to be serviced at
least monthly.
Poison bait used only for outside areas.
Pheromone traps for insects in product stores where required.
Insect traps and detectors to be placed strategically to monitor activity and possible
increase in infestation.
EFK units should be located away from product zones and in such a position so as not to
attract flies into the buildings. Traps to be cleaned at least once a month.
Bird proofing to be constructed to exclude roosting or entrance.
